 Many customers wishing to order new Directv service ask us how many and which HD, DVR or HD DVR receivers can they get from Directv by subscribing, and whether they are required to submit any rebate forms for these receivers. We would like to clarify this matter for our new customers. New customers who order either the Total Choice Extra, Choice Ultimate, Choice Premier or the Preferred Choice Packages will be able to receive 1 free HD, DVR or an HD DVR receiver from Directv. You will not have to submit any online or paper rebate forms to receive one of these receivers. The rebate on this equipment will be instantly processed during your order.

Customers who subscribe to the Preferred Choice, Total Choice, Choice Extra, Ultimate or Premier Packages can also receive a free upgrade to a second HD receiver if they subscribe to the Whole Home DVR Service. Customers who order the Whole Home DVR Service will have their rebates for the second HD receiver processed automatically during the ordering process.

Customers, who wish to order more than one HD (without the Whole Home DVR Service), DVR or HD DVR receivers on their accounts are able to do so by paying a lease upgrade fee at the time of their order. Those who wish to order additional HD or DVR receivers will be charged $99 fee per each additional receiver.
